But be sure to come prepared because you will not believe your taste buds. The event is free, and everyone is welcome.<\/p>\n<p>Introducing DWG (Delicious Without Gluten Inc.) a new dedicated gluten-free, peanut-free, nut-free, dairy-free and kosher factory that recently opened and that now you can count on to produce DELICIOUS, close to the real McCoy and SAFE bread and baked goods! We are located at 90-E boulevard Brunswick corner Tecumseh in Dollard-Des-Ormeaux, and we are set to deliver throughout Quebec and Ontario.<\/p>\n<p>On the menu for tasting is white bread, brown bread, vegan bread, challah rolls, hamburger buns, baguettes, pita bread and even birthday cakes, cupcakes, muffins, cookies, brownies and cake loaves.<\/p>\n<p>DWG has created everyday bread loaves that you and your kids will truly LOVE, that tastes like the REAL thing, toasts well, but spongy enough to make a sandwich that stays moist and delicious for days without preservatives. Unheard of, right? Do you have any doubts? We are ready to prove it to you!<\/p>\n<p>DWG is a company that cares about the ingredients that go into each of the products. All products are tested for gluten and every ingredient must be free of nuts, peanuts and dairy before entering the facility.\u00a0 Already with a MK Pareve (kosher certification) it has started the process of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GFCP (Gluten Free Certification Program).<\/p>\n<p>DWG is not a retail store, but will be selling their goods to stores, restaurants, camps, schools, caterers and convention centers so that all can benefit.<\/p>\n<p>According to Agriculture Canada,\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0Gluten free\u00a0\u00bb is the fastest growing food intolerance category (Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada 2013, 2012.)<\/p>\n<p>The dynamic growth is a result of increasing awareness of celiac disease.\u00a0As a gluten-free diet is the only current treatment for celiac disease, the demand for these types of products will continue to grow.<\/p>\n<p>Almost one third of Canadians (10\u00a0million) are looking for gluten-free products. This includes about 2.5\u00a0million Canadians requiring gluten-free products for medical reasons (celiac disease\u00a0=\u00a01% or 350,000; non-celiac gluten sensitivity\u00a0=\u00a06% or 2.1\u00a0million). The vast majority, more than 7\u00a0million, perceive gluten-free products to be a healthier choice or in some cases have a family member with a medical need.\u00a0In addition, interest in gluten-free and wheat-free items in Canadian restaurants has been growing steadily since 2010, having increased 137% in the past 3\u00a0years (NPD Group 2013).<\/p>\n<p>Miriam Pearl is the mom, recipe developer, and the entrepreneur behind Delicious Without Gluten Inc. She owned a design studio for 18 years and a peanut free bakery for two years.
