Miriam Pearl

Miriam Pearl is the mom, designer and baker behind Delicious Without Gluten Inc. Born with a
wooden spatula in her hand Miriam has been creating recipes for breads, pastries and desserts since
childhood.

She owned a design studio for 18 years, where she learned to design and package food. After realizing
that her rst child had a severe peanut allergy, Miriam opened a kosher peanut-free bakery, a
rarity at the time. There she learned how to develop recipes and create delicious tasty treats in a commercialsetting. After 2 years in business, both of Miriam’s children were diagnosed with Celiac
Disease. Out of necessity, she went back into the kitchen to learn how to bake and cook gluten-free,
which is how Delicious Without Gluten, otherwise known as DWG was born.

DWG quickly took o from private orders and catering to lling shelves in local health food stores.
Her most innovative product is her gluten-free pita bread, a versatile and unique oering in the
gluten-free world. Her muns are known for their light and moist texture and healthy content, and
her cupcakes have been to countless birthday parties without anyone even knowing they are
gluten-free! With a factory behind her now, Miriam is determined to ll shelves, fridges and freezers
in stores across Quebec and Ontario within 2014.

Through life experience, Miriam has learned what it means to be a mom of kids with allergies and
Celiac Disease. Her compassion for other moms dealing with similar situations runs deep, which is
why she has made it her business to provide delicious safe-to-eat foods. No one should feel denied
by a lifestyle redened by gluten intolerance, food allergies or Celiac Disease.
